Momentum Summer Group Lessons provide fun, supportive, instrument-specific instruction for young musicians who want to keep learning and growing over the summer. Each group meets once per week in small, focused classes taught by experienced music educators who specialize in helping students build confidence and strong fundamentals.
These lessons are designed especially for students entering 5th through 8th grade who may not be taking private lessons but still want guided practice, skill-building, and consistency during the summer months. Who Can Join?
Momentum Summer Group Lessons are open to young musicians who want a supportive, structured way to keep playing over the summer. Groups are formed by instrument and general experience level so students can learn comfortably with peers.
These lessons are ideal for:
Students entering 5th through 8th grade
Current 4th graders continuing from their elementary instrumental music program
Students preparing to join or continue in middle school band
Players who aren’t taking private lessons but still want guided practice
Students who benefit from small-group instruction and clear weekly goals
Anyone who wants to maintain (or build!) momentum over the summer

Join us for a dynamic, five-day music experience designed for band and orchestra students who want to grow their skills, deepen their musical understanding, and have fun doing it! Held in August—right before school resumes—the Momentum Music Summer Academy offers full-day programming packed with:
